Chase Scene!!

Chase scene W.I.P from Joshua Stirling on Vimeo.
A W.I.P of a chase scene I was working on.

Just a W.I.P of a chase scene I was working on. Its needs some more improvement in my opinion. The walk looks to vanilla, and needs a little more variety to it, and there's not enough struggle when the character goes to lift the sliding door. It's weird how much you learn just by diggin' in sometimes. I admit I didn't even finish putting in the final poses towards the end, but I figured why not post it anyway. Soooo hur it is

"Fleshing" out the zombie concept on paper

These are some of the drawing I did in figuring out how I wanted my zombie to move. I usually record myself doing the action, and getting the motion of what I want to do. Then I play the video back, and look for all the main keys within the motion to sketch down to create the motion.

One Leap Forward

A lil animation I created a while back of a jump. I really wanted a big anticipation in there, and for the landing to come off as being graceful. I'll leave it up to you guys to determine if it was successful. A fine attempt none-the-less.

Walking Tall

As a 3D animator it is essential to first learn the basics, and foundation for which 3D animation is built upon. I manage to find a 2D walk I created from back when I was in Orlando receiving instruction from former Disney Animators. I looked up to those guys so much, and often pretended each day I studied was a day of animating in Disney's studio.

I am eternally grateful to those guys for sharing their knowledge with me, especially Sam Ewing he was a mentor to me, and his personality was so animated he made learning animation beyond fun!!! Guud times :)

A Lil' Paint Practice!

Last Year I did work at a few studios, but unfortunately I could not acquire any of the footage I worked on, Anndddd since I work in an industry where they rather see what you've done (Not just hear about it) which is understandable. I decided to just put together a small reel of what I can do.

This clip may look familiar ( those of you may know where this is from) Anyway going back, and doing this project help me to brush up on Nuke, and Learn a few new things here, and there.

More stuff coming soon! :D

The Journey Ahead!

Well it's been a interesting, and exciting journey as I've made my way through Full Sail. The education I received there, and talented friends I made along the way was by far an amazing experience. And now as I have finally graduated, the road to achieving my industry goals lies ahead. Thank you to those who gave a lot of support, and encouragement. Stay tuned in to my site, as I have begun doing more analysis on acting, and will soon be posting up more work related to that, but in the mean time please enjoy my demo reel!!

This is the first asset I started on for my demo reel. A lot is still being tweaked, and changed.

More exploratory sketching!!

These were done for the very first asset I began to work on for my demo reel. Even with the drawings I did, and preplanning I put into it a lot of the story changed, and is still continuing to change.

Sum exploratory Sketches!!

So these are some of the exploratory sketches I created in preparing to do a Sound Clip piece. I hadn't attempted to do a sound clip in a while. This was the first time I really sat down, and thought about what kind of personality I wanted my character to have. It was an enjoyable process.
